Internationally Renowned Flamenco Guitarist Ronald Radford
live in concert

Free for children under age 5.
He is the only individual to be awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Spain in Flamenco guitar. You may pay at the door or purchase tickets in advance at the Arts Center, 1001 East B Street, Russellville. This performance will appeal to all ages and a broad range of musical tastes from those who like the creativity of jazz and the fun of Bluegrass to those who love the classics. A protégé of the legendary Carlos Montoya, Radford is widely acclaimed as one of the foremost Flamenco guitarist touring today.
The great good news is that Radford’s performance is partially supported by grants from Mid-America Arts Alliance and The Arts Foundation. Mid-America Arts Alliance gathers their support from the national Endowment for the Arts, Arkansas Arts Council, and foundations, corporations and individuals throughout Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. We simply can’t do this-type of important cultural enrichment and bring such fine artists that make our community more vibrant and appealing without grants and the continued support of area members and art patrons.
After attending one of Mr. Radford’s performances a flamenco reviewer from Alicante, Spain wrote, “This is not just a musical performance but an ambience-driven, immersive, soul-stirring experience – a musical journey adorned with stories, tales, poetry and sounds and music transcending the stage. From the explosive opening to the emotional farewell, Radford’s concert program forms a coherent ride – a carefully crafted experience that is self-contained, yet fresh and deeply satisfying every time. This concert will take you on a journey to Spain and beyond. ""
