ARTIST
OF THE MONTH
SUE TUCKER
The works of watercolorist Sue Tucker
will be on display during the month of
November at the Arkansas River Valley Arts
Center, 1001 East B Street in
Russellville.
Sue began her art studies at ATU in 1987,
completing 24 hours in fine art. She has
also studied with artists such as Frank
Webb, Pat Dedman, Gary Akins, Milford
Zornes, David Reese and many others. Her
artwork has been exhibited at Stuttgart,
Little Rock, Fort Smith and The Arkansas
River Valley Arts Center. Sue is a
signature member of Midsouthern
Watercolorist Association receiving her
pin with six pieces accepted by the
Association. She also is a member of the
local group A.R.T. (Artist’s Review
Together).
The Arts Center will be hosting an Opening
Reception for Sue Tucker Sunday, November
7, 2004 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. The
reception is free and open to the public.
Sue’s daughter’s Mary Clow &
Sarah Keathly will serve refreshments.
The public can view Sue’s artwork at
the Arkansas River Valley Arts Center
during the month of November.
