Exciting August Exhibit
The Opening Reception for the August Exhibit will be held at the Arts Center from 1:00-3:00 p.m. , Sunday, August 2. This exciting exhibit will spotlight 13 area women who are students of Sarah Keathley. Artists exhibiting in addition to Keathley are Marie Biggers, Rita Goodman, Polly Hardin, Cindy Mahan, Joy Mason, Rhonda Monfee, Sherrlene Bird Parker, Joy Peebles, Jeannie Stone, Tonona Stone, Susan Jackson, Maysel Teeter, and Carol Watson. Come encourage these artists, hear their gallery talk, view their art, enjoy refreshments and visit and network with other artists and friends. Arts Center board members Karla Stanton and Richard Ruble are hosts for the reception.
Parents remember Family Sunday Funday held in the classroom in conjunction with the Exhibit Reception. Parents are invited to bring their children to view the exhibit and introduce them to fine art and the artists who created the pieces. They then can create an art piece to take home with them. Supplies and instructor are furnished.
Both events are free and open to the public.
