Permanent
Collection
The
ARV Arts Center has a small but
interesting permanent collection. One of
special interest is a collection of 5
large black and white photographs
depicting the life of a
blacksmith.
A
new piece has been added to the Arts
Center's permanent collection from the
estate of the late Dr. and Mrs. Charles
Wilkins. The oil painting of the
Dardanelle Dam Overlook was painted in
1961 by Mert E. Smith, whom we are told
was head of ATU's Art Department at that
time.
